In choosing an air pressure regulator, attention must be paid to the Regulation characteristics. The first determines the ability of pressure as selected, independent of the fluctuations in the primary pressure. The closer this control the better the regulator.

Flow characteristics demonstrate the ability of the regulator to maintain its secondary or delivery pressure under varying air demand. Here again the regulator which provides the most even pressure will be the most desirable.

In the Quick On units the first characteristics is taken care of by the provision of a large ratio between regulating valve area and regulating piston area and by provision, if required, of special spring ranges to suit special pressure requirements.

The second characteristics is taken care of by a sensing orifice underneath the regulating piston ensuring that sudden demands for air flows accentuate the opening of the regulating valve and ensuring that the flow requirements are quickly met.

A blow gun operated at a working pressure of 3O psig will be just as effective and much economical than at a line pressure of 90 psig. About 90,000 cubic feet of air could be saved in a year on one gun used only an hour a day.

Irrespective of change in Air Flow, Quick ON oil Fog Lubricator maintains Constant Oil/ Air ratio. Therefore, neither the pneumatic equipments will starve nor get flood of Oil. The volume of oil mixing with air can be seen clearly in form of droplet of oil falling which is precisely adjusted by screw. As soon as Air flows through Lubricator, metered Quantity of oil is pulled up thorough siphon tube.

Above features also made it possible to design the basic Filter, Regulator and Lubricator modules with wide open flow ports, which have greater flow capacity [up to 250 SCFM] than conventional ported models.

As long as your flow requirements do not exceed 250 SCFM, specify Quick On in your system pipe size i.e. 1/4”, 3/8”, ½”, ¾” and 1”.
